Celebrations and Achievements
Here at St John’s we love to celebrate in our pupil’s achievements, and we are not going to let current circumstances stop us. Please find below our school’s latest home accomplishments
George has been exploring and learning about the wildlife in his garden.
Ben had been working very hard on his maths. Keep up the good work Ben!
Lucas has done an amazing job creating this sock puppet!
Fantastic artwork by Tom and Isabel!
Sophie has been completing year 1 class 2 and year 2 class 2 home schooling work each day which has been her choice and she’s loved doing the directions and pattern sequences. I feel she has a bit of a passion for maths!
She’s been learning to tell the time which has helped with some of the work set for year 2.
We've learnt about North, East, South and West and is pointing in all directions with the phrase Never eat shredded wheat!
We’ve done some planting of some lettuces and strawberries which Sophie has produced a grow chart to record the growth. Whilst just having fun in the garden in this lovely sunshine.
And I’m not sure how we have fit it in but we’ve even made cupcakes for neighbours and some cakes for some elderly care packages that I got asked to be involved in. Sophie has written beautiful little notes to go with them.
