Wishing you the warmest welcome to St John’s Catholic Primary School!
Thank you for taking the time to view our school website which I hope will provide you with a window into life at St John’s Catholic Primary School. I feel very proud and privileged to be Acting Head of School of this wonderful school.
Nothing beats an actual visit, so if you are considering us as the school for your children or as a future place of work, please do not hesitate in contacting us directly and organising a visit so that you can see us in action for yourselves.
Our goal is to provide a fun, secure and caring environment for your child where he or she will feel happy, valued and part of our school family.
Your child is special and every individual child is at the heart of everything we do. We have high expectations in their academic, spiritual and physical progress. Our dedicated and good-humoured staff will nurture your child’s natural curiosity through a challenging curriculum that we are constantly considering, planning and developing, to provide as many exciting opportunities for wide learning and experiences as we can, through our Curriculum Vehicles.
Whilst the Catholic Faith is central to our school’s approach, we welcome children of all cultures and faiths, or none.
We believe it is so important that your child has the opportunity to develop not only academically, but as a well-rounded, caring citizen with good morals. This is why we invest heavily in our wonderful sporting activities (working closely with a former Olympic athlete!), personal/moral/social/spiritual education and providing opportunities for children to take on roles and responsibilities for themselves to make a difference to their school and wider community.
We will work in partnership with you over your child’s development. Parents are part of our family too, and are welcome in school. We are extremely grateful to the large number who help us in a variety of ways.
Thank you for visiting our website, we hope that you find it informative and enjoyable.
