We use Get Writing to support our phonics work from Read Write Inc. This comprises of a variety of writing tasks linked to the storybook that we are currently focusing on in our phonics sessions. Children will explore grammar, vocabulary and longer written pieces during these pieces, with a focus oral rehearsal before writing and using strategies taught during phonics to help children to write and spell.

Maths

We follow Power Maths during our maths lessons in school. These are daily sessions that allow children the opportunity to explore the concept they are learning about, before learning about it in more depth and then applying their skills in different contexts.
